Grady Ervin & Co. opened its doors November of '95 in Charleston, SC. Located at 313 King Street, our historic flagship location proudly holds the first ever Preservation Society's Carolopolis award, as well as legendary blacksmith Philip Simmons' first walkway gate. The pride we take in our Old World History is the same pride we take in our Old World Services. We stand by our tag line: “Classic Clothiers to Gentlemen”, and have built a reputation as one of the South’s best clothing and sportswear stores offering not only products that are Ready-To-Wear, but 100% custom made and tailored from a wide variety of unique fabrics specifically made for you.
What do we mean by Old World Service? Quite simply, we ensure that your clothing experience at Grady-Ervin and Co. is a rewarding one. We strive to establish long-standing relationships with all of our clients. We know that in order to keep our clients happy, we must provide the finest clothing and most importantly the finest service available anywhere, at any cost. Our experienced sales associates will take into account your personal style, ensure that you are fitted properly, and will follow up after the sale to make sure that you are pleased.
We feature most of America’s and Europe’s best clothing brands and sportswear, and proudly offer a wide range of locally made specialty items such as handmade knives, oyster blades, vintage and antique belt buckles, pantry items, and feather bow ties. Supplying our customers, both local and out-of-towners, something that they are not going to find anywhere else. We continue to innovate while keeping our old world traditions well intact with such additions as The Grady Ervin Field Sport and Gunroom, as well as our Online Store that offers select goods for both local and out of state customers to pick up in person or have delivered directly to your door step.
